Both the U10 Co-Ed and Girls divisions hold a post-season, single-elimination tournament. The tournament begins the week following the final regular-season games.
The number of brackets depends on how many teams are in the division.
Teams are seeded based on regular-season standings.
Preliminary, quarterfinal, and semifinal games are typically played during the week.
Championship games are scheduled for Saturday morning.
All standard league rules apply unless noted below.
Because the tournament is single-elimination, every game must have a winner.
If the score is tied at the end of regulation:
Teams will play up to two 5-minute extra-time periods using Golden Goal rules (first team to score wins).
If neither team scores in extra time, the game will be decided by penalty kicks:
Each team takes three kicks (best-of-three).
If still tied, teams alternate kicks in sudden death until one team scores and the other does not.
The first team to gain the advantage in sudden death is declared the winner.
